These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website and services.

2. About Velvet Crumbs

Velvet Crumbs is an artisan bakery offering handcrafted baked goods including brownies, tea cakes, cupcakes, cookies, jar cakes, bread, and viennoiserie. We also offer custom orders, gift packages, and B2B/corporate supply arrangements.

3. Orders and Enquiries

This website is informational in nature. Orders are placed through our WhatsApp, contact form, email, or phone. The following conditions apply to all orders:

• All orders are subject to availability and confirmation by Velvet Crumbs
• Prices are communicated at the time of order and may vary based on customization, quantity, and seasonal availability
• Custom orders require at least 48–72 hours advance notice. Bulk, corporate, and event orders may require more lead time
• An order is confirmed only after you receive written confirmation from us

4. Custom Orders

For custom orders (including bulk orders, gift packages, corporate orders, and contract manufacturing):

• A non-refundable advance payment may be required at the time of booking
• Specific requirements (flavors, designs, packaging) must be communicated clearly and confirmed in writing
• We reserve the right to decline orders that are not feasible within our production capabilities
• Any changes to a confirmed custom order must be requested at least 48 hours before the scheduled bake date

5. Pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order will be the price confirmed at the time of order placement.

6. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated at the time of order. We accept payments via bank transfer, UPI, and other mutually agreed methods. Full payment is typically required before dispatch or delivery for standard orders. For B2B arrangements, credit terms may be negotiated separately.

7. Delivery and Pickup

• Delivery availability, timelines, and charges will be communicated at the time of order
• We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (traffic, weather, third-party delivery partners)
• For self-pickup, please collect your order at the agreed time. Uncollected orders held beyond 2 hours past the agreed pickup time may be disposed of
• Risk of damage to products passes to the customer upon delivery or pickup

8. Perishable Products

All our products are freshly baked and perishable. Please note:

• Consume products within the shelf life indicated on the packaging or as communicated at the time of order
• Store products as instructed (most items at room temperature; some may require refrigeration)
• We are not responsible for products that deteriorate due to improper storage after delivery

9. Allergens

Our products are made in a kitchen that handles wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts (including peanuts and tree nuts), and soy. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that our products are free from traces of allergens. Please inform us of any allergies at the time of ordering. We will do our best to accommodate your needs but cannot guarantee allergen-free products.

10. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Given the perishable and made-to-order nature of our products:

• We do not accept returns on food products
• If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect, or of unsatisfactory quality, please contact us within 2 hours of receipt with photographic evidence
• Refunds or replacements are offered at our discretion on a case-by-case basis
• Order cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the bake date. Cancellations after this period may forfeit any advance payment made

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics, and brand identity — is the property of Velvet Crumbs and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our express written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velvet Crumbs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order in question.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your City], India.
